  1. why is that am not receiving my alarm or any messages from my account Skye bank?

    1. Hello Danladi,

I suppose your question should be “why you ain’t receiving transaction or SMS alert from your bank?”

The reason could be any of the following:

      1. You do not provide a valid phone number during account opening.

      2. The phone number you supplied was wrongly captured by the customer service officer who’s in charge of account opening.

      3. You did not tick the column that says “enable SMS alert” while opening the account. Some customers do not want alert so they will require not receive for whatever reason though not the best, so it won’t be activated.

      4. Were you receiving alert before suddenly it stopped? You might have changed your phone number.

      5. It could be a network issue from the bank SMS portal.

How to address this issue: Kindly visit any branch of Skye bank close to you, go to the customer service desk, lay your complaints.
They will trace it, however you may be asked to fill a customer information update form should there be any changes in your phone number. Hope that helps?
